Programme leadership · Advisory — Copenhagen Energy / Pharma / Finance / Logistics

Søren Porskrog

Programme leadership and advisory — for organisations past the point of easy correction.

For three decades I have worked inside large programmes across energy, pharma, finance, and logistics. The pattern that kept returning became a book.

After Commitment — Leadership When Reversibility Is Gone

Every leader knows the room: the decision already made, the contracts signed — and stopping no longer a real option. The book is about the clarity that remains. Manuscript complete.

I

Programme leadership in complex environments

I lead large-scale programmes where the real challenge is not planning — it is navigating what happens after commitment. Governance design, escalation dynamics, stakeholder alignment where stopping is harder than continuing.

II

Advisory on post-commitment dynamics

For leadership teams who have committed to a direction and suspect something is wrong, but cannot locate where the system resists correction. I help you see the pattern you are inside.

III

Speaking & workshops

Keynotes and workshops on post-commitment leadership, escalation dynamics, and the structural conditions that turn competent organisations into trapped ones. For conferences, executive teams, and professional chapters.

Søren Porskrog

Programme leader and management consultant. Three decades inside large programmes and organisations — public and private, in Denmark and internationally. MBA (Henley Business School); doctoral research at Cranfield School of Management — an inquiry that ultimately produced After Commitment rather than a dissertation. Early contributor to PMI's OPM3 core team; former Visiting Fellow at Cranfield and CBS.

I write and speak about what leadership becomes when reversibility is gone — and I still take the room-side work: programmes, steering committees, and the quiet conversations where judgment is decided.

I take a small number of programme engagements and advisory roles each year — and I speak wherever the question is real.
